Advertising and Consent

How We Use Advertising

Free-tier AstroBond users see banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers do not see any advertising. We do not allow third parties to collect or use information about your activity in our app for advertising purposes outside of AdMob's own personalisation.

Personalised vs Non-Personalised Ads

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), the app shows a Google-managed consent prompt the first time you launch it. Your choice determines whether AdMob serves you personalised ads (based on your interests inferred from prior activity) or non-personalised ads (contextual only, no behavioural profiling). On iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) provides an additional layer of choice over cross-app tracking.

Changing or Revoking Your Consent

You can review or change your advertising consent choices at any time:

• In the app: Open Profile → Legal → Privacy Settings to re-open the consent dialog. This option appears for users in regions where the consent prompt applies.
• iOS tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking lets you revoke ATT permission for AstroBond.
• Android ad ID: Settings → Google → Ads lets you reset or opt out of ads personalisation device-wide.

Revoking consent does not stop ads from being shown to free-tier users — it only switches them to non-personalised. To remove ads entirely, upgrade to AstroBond Premium.

Data Retention and Deletion

Retention of Personal Data

The Company retains Personal Data only as necessary for stated purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. Usage Data is retained for shorter periods unless needed for security or functionality improvements.

Delete Your Personal Data

Users have the right to request deletion. The Service may allow deletion through account settings. Users can update, amend, or delete information by signing into their account or contacting the Company.

How to Request Account Deletion

Process:

2. Account Settings: Select "Delete my account" option if available in the app
3. Verification: Identity confirmation via email or account details
4. Processing: Deletion completed within 5 business days; access to services lost during period
